本文探讨了在实施中外合作办学项目过程中,通过消化吸收外方职业教育课程体系,建构相应的教学思想、教学方法和教材,加强了高职高专学生职业能力的培养.     

Instructional design dogma: Creating planned learning experiences in simulation

Human lives depend on the performance of our trainees; thus, the educational methodology used to transform our learners into experts are of paramount importance. Effective use of simulation requires educators explore and apply educational theory as they discover who the learner is, how the learner learns, what the learning needs are, and which planned learning experiences are best suited to meet the learner's specialized needs. The purpose of this article is to portray simulation as an educational strategy in the context of a curriculum, to explore emerging theories from educational psychology, and to provide concrete examples of their application in simulation-based education.     

Beyond barriers: The challenge of cultural diversity for nurse academics in the Australian context

In spite of the increasing significance of cultural diversity for nursing, some Australian nurse teachers are not well prepared for the challenges they face, nor have nursing curricula been re-conceptualized to meet the changing needs of society and more specifically nursing students.Although numerous teaching and learning programmes for inclusion of diversity are reported in the literature, both within Australia and overseas, there appears to be little commitment to the adoption of a more fundamental change in curricula and teaching and learning practices. In particular there appears to be little attention to how teachers negotiate meaningful social dynamics within multicultural learning contexts.This article reports on the findings of a study carried out across two Schools of Nursing in Australia. The purpose of the study was to explore why schools have been reluctant to move to more culturally diverse models of teaching and learning. This paper reports on the findings of focus groups with teachers about their experiences of teaching in the context of cultural diversity.Study findings explore teachers’ perceptions of cultural diversity and its impact on teaching and learning nursing. Teachers reported a range of tensions arising from lack of a shared philosophical view about curricula generally, lack of consideration of diversity as a significant issue for both teachers and students, limited perceptions of community as a key driver of curricula and a reluctance to address the difficult and contentious issues arising from diversity in the classroom.     

An assessment of priority and educational value in a medical curriculum

A randomly selected group of teachers, students, first-year graduates (junior doctors in the first year of postgraduate training after their final medical school examination), general practitioners and specialists responded to a postal questionnaire designed to assess their views on the priorities in medical curriculum and the educational value attributed to its content. Comparisons were made among the five participating groups and the outcome of the assessment was compared with the existing curriculum.

医学研究生信息分析能力培养初探

目的培养用户信息分析能力,解决“信息超载,知识缺乏”的问题。对象具备文献检索基础知识的各专业医学硕士研究生。课程设置以文献计量学指标、文献管理软件、文献分析软件、Excel在文献分析中的应用及数据自带的分析功能为教学内容,进行18学时的教学。结果取得了较为满意的结果。讨论此法可在短时间内使用户掌握文献分析方法,且无需额外成本。     

医学院校计算机教学改革的思考

目前医学院校计算机教学无法满足现代医学临床和科研的需求,很大程度上制约了医学人才的发展。重庆医科大学计算机教研室立足于医学院校计算机教学现状,结合自身教学实践,从课程设置、教学方法和考核方式三方面探索计算机教学改革。根据学生计算机知识基础和专业开设课程,采用任务教学为主导的系列新方法,使用更为全面、合理的考核评估方式等,以提高教学质量。

成人学历教育“专升本”护理专业课程改革的思路与设想——以北京协和医学院为案例

随着社会需求和成人学生特点的变化,成人学历教育护理专业“专升本”课程改革势在必行.本文以北京协和医学院为案例,通过问卷调查、访谈及专家座谈等方式对该院现有培养目标和课程设置现状进行了调研,在此基础上分析了目前社会对成人学历教育的需求状况和成人学生的特点,有针对性地提出了该院课程改革的思路与设想,认为:在培养目标方面,应在普通高校护理本科培养目标的基础上加强对学生科研能力和自我学习能力的培养,并对课程设置做出相应调整;在教学方法上,提倡采用多样化,积极应用网络资源等现代化教学手段;在考核评价方式上,加强过程性评价的力度,采用过程性评价和结果评价相结合的方式进行考核.
